Coming Soon: Charge Up Your TLX's Intercooler System

Currently in the prototype phase, our new upper cold side charge pipe for the 2021-2025 Acura TLX 2.0L is undergoing dyno and real-world road testing to ensure it meets our strict standards for power and reliability. The early results from our dyno sessions show this upgrade generating an additional 6.5 horsepower and 6.5 lb-ft of torque over the stock configuration. We know that TLX owners demand a perfect balance of luxury and sport, which is why we set out to engineer an upgraded replacement that surpasses the limitations of the factory components.

HPS Performance Cold Side Intercooler Charge Pipe increase 6.5 ft/lb torque 2021-2025 Acura TLX 2.0L Turbo

The stock upper cold side charge pipe on the TLX 2.0L is constructed from factory rubber and plastic— materials notoriously prone to cracking, expanding, and ultimately failing under increased boost pressures and extreme engine bay heat cycles. Our upcoming HPS Performance cold side charge pipe eliminates these weak links entirely by utilizing premium mandrel-bent aluminum. This single-pipe design is paired with our heavy-duty, 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers and premium embossed stainless steel hose clamps that feature rolled edges. This combination ensures a secure, leak-free connection that won't degrade, expand, or blow off when you start turning up the boost, offering unparalleled durability and longevity for the life of your vehicle.

Beyond the superior materials, our development team has paid close attention to the quality of fitment. This charge pipe is meticulously designed, with the help of our 3D scanning capabilities, to drop seamlessly into the TLX’s engine bay, clearing surrounding components with ease for a perfect, hassle-free installation. In addition to the fitment, our team also added an NPT bung to allow for the seamless integration of aftermarket accessories, such as a boost sensor or a water/methanol injection nozzle. This convenient, built-in feature gives owners the flexibility to monitor vital engine parameters or push their horsepower numbers even further down the line.
