Magnet is very powerful over the stock drain plug.
The stock plug uses a 10mm Allen. HPS uses an 8mm allen. These plug bolt can get rusted on and are difficult to take off. Would have liked to see a 10mm.

This magnetic oil drain plug arrived promptly. It appears to be of excellent construction and materials. The magnet is powerful, which is impressive! I have not used it yet but I am optimistic that it will excel at pulling ferrous particles out of the circulating motor oil.

Just got my drain plug for my 370z. I haven’t installed it yet, but just opening the box and the presentation of the part is stellar. The bolt looks like a piece of jewelry. I was so happy to find a stainless steel option for the plug to replace my anodized aluminum one, I just don’t trust aluminum threads in a steel pan after a couple of oil changes. Great job HPS! Highly recommend
